Choosing Wedding presents is usually fairly easy as the bride and groom either send out lists or pick a store and set up a wedding list. This is fine for perhaps the younger generation but what about the older generation who perhaps have left it late to get married or marry for the second time and therefore have a lot of items that you can buy from a shop today. They usually do not let the friends, families or guests know what they would like and therefore finding a suitable present can be quite difficult. That is where I come in. I sell a wide range of good quality solid silver and amongst my items are beautiful items that would be suitable for such gifts. Solid silver will last and last and could be passed down through generations and will appreciate in value.
Particular items that would be suitable would be items that are boxed and I have quite a few sets of SPOONS AND TONGSwhich obviously are very useful items but would also hold their value. I also have BOXED SALTSand although using salt as a condiment in large amounts isn’t so popular nowadays these could be used as mustards or serving other small amounts of sauces and being silver they would look impressive on any table. I do have other boxed items including TEASETS, CREAM JUGS and SUGAR BOWLS which again are very useful items but also nice gamily heirlooms.
Following on the theme of weddings and presents, the SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERARY is a wonderful anniversary to celebrate as being married to the same person for 25 years is an achievement (and I am proud to say that my husband and I have reached that milestone and are still going). For a silver wedding present you have to give silver so again look no further as I can be of help. One lovely thing about all solid silver is that it is hallmarked which includes a date of manufacture, so what a lovely thoughtful idea would be to marry (pardon the pun) the date of the wedding to an item which dates 25 years after. Again my boxed items would make very special silver wedding presents and to find something 25 years old in a box would be much appreciated.
