Silver2treasure ebay shop is doing very well this month despite the financial crisis and I have to say the affiliate side of our business is growing for the first time this month as well. My Google adsense earnings have passed last months already and we are over our best months earnings at EPN. Now all this may sound grand but on the affiliate earnings we are talking about small amounts. Still it seems to be paying off the lessons on concentrating on fewer sites and adding quality.

Ebay have not replied to us yet on how it can deduct different final value fees for the same price item. The powerseller support remains as unhelpful as ever this week particularly with its interface with paypal.

One story I discovered this week which should worry all internet traders who use the services of the Royal Mail.

“A DEALER has raised serious questions over Royal Mail’s compensation policy for items lost in the post following a dispute that ended in court. Despite the county court judge ruling against the postal service, Royal Mail are refusing to change their policy.” Basically Royal Mail refuse to pay out the full retail price but only pay the nett or trade price hence the dealer taking a loss. You can read the full article here

Well I am having a spot of bother with my new silver2treasure website at the moment with the hosting provider and the software. Hopefully it can be easily fixed. I am pleased though with its new blog theme.

Still there you have it, another week has passed us by and next week will be the usuall rounds of auction preview and auctions proper
