Stage 2.
I now give the silver a light polish with a quality silver polish. I prefer to use
Goddards myself but I do use other cleaners for difficult stains.
Stage 3.
After a period of exposure to the air all silver will tarnish. Every few months I use a
quality silver cleaning cloth again Goddards to give a light buff over to keep its shine.
After about 12 months I again use the qwicksilver product but skip stage 2 as it will retain its shine just from the dip.
Its as simple as that. Silver is a joy to own and I believe should be used regularly. I always store in tissue paper when not in use.With simple care and proper cleaning it will outlast us and generations to come.
