This is a most unusual example of a  rare Sterling Silver Gilt Pill Box. It is in the shape of a walnut and has a textured finish which looks exactly like the nut. It was made in Italy and is stamped 925 and it has import marks for:

Makers Marks: A & Co Ltd

Dimensions: 1.5 inches long, just over 1 inch wide and 1 inch deep. It weighs 34g

Condition: It is in very good condition
