Antique Victorian Silver & Red Enamelled Heart Shaped Lidded Box. The gorgeous red enamel which has been inset into the hinged lid, shines even more when it faces the light and the scarlet red colour is very vivid. Open the lid to reveal a crisp gilt interior. It is quite a deep box (although not a large box) and is made from a good guage of silver and has clear hallmarks. It would be ideal as a small trinket box or a very large pill box.

Dimensions: Just under 2 inches wide at its widest point. Just over 2 inches in depth and 1.25 inches tall. It weighs 69g
Condition: It is in very good condition with just some very light surface scratching to the underside of the base where it has rested on a surface, which is only to be expected on a metal item, but this is very minor and commensurate with age and use
Remarks: I cannot emphasise what a beautiful antique Victorian solid silver and enamel heart shaped hinged lidded box this is, which just oozes quality. A fantastic item and ideal for storing those special little trinkets, small items of jewellery etc, and would make a lovely display item. It would make a very very special Valentines gift
