Jewellery Box Silver Hallmarks Birmingham 1958
It is circular in shape with the hinged lid having an engine turned wavy lined decoration covering it. The sides of the box are plain with a plain raised banding to the middle and base. It stands on 3 pad feet. The inside of the lid is gilt and the box is lined with red velvet.

Makers Marks: There are makers marks but they are a bit rubbed but I do think they are for Adie Brothers
Dimensions: 1.5 inches tal and 3.25 inches in diamter. It weighs 145g (but this does include the inner box)
Condition: It is in very good condition with just a couple of very minor shallow dings, but these are very small and hardly noticeable
Remarks: A very pretty and attractive solid silver ring/jewellery box that would look impressive on any dressing table for storing rings, and small items of jewellery
Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
