Pair of Large and Heavy Silver Plated Candlesticks. They have “V” shaped bodies with embossed grape, leaf and scroll patterns around the removal sconces, the two circular parts of the main body and the on the large filled circular bases. These large circular bases also have wavy rims and are both covered with a green baize.
Identifying Marks: There are none at all, so I cannot confirm their age, although due to the weight and style of them, I would say that they definitely had some age to them
Dimensions: 11.75 inches tall, the diameter of the base is 5 inches and they weigh a whopping 2417g
Condition: They are in very good condition with no plate loss, dings or dents, but I have to say that if one is turned in a certain direction then the main “V” shaped body slightly tilts to one side, but if turned around it then appears straight. This is only a minor issue, and does not detract from this very good pair of candlesticks
Remarks: This really is a very good pair of large and heavy silver plated candlesticks, that would look impressive in any home
