This is a very good example of an Antique Sterling Silver Wine Bottle Coaster. Its circular shape has a pretty pierced decoration to the sides and the top overhanging rim has a gadrooned pattern to it. The base is of a light coloured wood with a silver circular inset and the underide of the base is coverd with a green baize

Dimensions: The top is 4.25 inches in diameter, the base is 3.25 inches in diameer and it is 1.75 inches tall. It weighs 163g but obviously this includes the wooden base

Condition: It is in very good condition

Remarks: A lovely antique solid silver 102 year old wine bottle coaster and being of a small compact size it would not be intrusive on any dinner table. A must have to stop drips from bottles of wine staining tables or tablecloths
