Coffee Pot

coffeepotThis is a lovely example of a Sterling Silver Coffee Pot. It is of an elegant Georgian style with a baluster shaped body. It has a gadrooned pattern to the rim of the hinged lid and the rim of the circular base. It has an elegant decorative spout which has an embossed with what I can best describe as a shell pattern to it . The circular domed hinged lid has a cone shaped finial and it has a decorative scroll wooden handle. It has clear hallmarks and is made from a good guage of silver and is of a very good weight

Makers Marks: BES Co (Barker Ellis Silver Co)

Dimensions: 10.5 inches tall, 8.75 inches wide from spout to handle the actual body is 4.25 inches wide at its widest point. It weighs 909g

Condition: It is in very good condition with just some very light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item but this is very minor

Remarks: This really is a lovely solid silver very elegant coffee pot that would look impressive in any home and what a super pot to serve your coffee. When not in use it makes a lovely display item.
