This is a very good Pair of Antique Solid Silver Pepperettes. They are of a vase shape with overhanging wavy rims. They have domed pull off lids which have decorative finials and a short circular pedestal base. They are made from a good guage of silver and both have hallmarks, although some are a little rubbed and are clearer on one of the peppers than the other one

Makers Marks: WH & SS Ltd (William Hutton & Sons Ltd)
Dimensions: 3 inches tall to the top of the finial, 1.75 inches wide at their widest which are the fluted rims. The actual bodies just under 1.25 inches wide and the diameter of the bases are 1 inch. They weigh a total of 64g
Condition: They are both in very good condition, apart from a few little pin prick dings to one, but these are very minor
Remarks: A very good pair of antique solid silver pepperettes that would look sweet on any table
Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
