Cutlery Rests

cutleryrestsThis is a lovely example of an unusual Pair of Sterling Silver Cutlery Rests. They are in the form of elongated Dachshunds having a textured finish to resemble their coats and each having a loop tail.

Assay Office: SHEFFIELD

Date: 1977 (the mark used for this year was the 1777 mark to commemorate the Bicentenary of the Sheffield Assay Office)

Makers Marks: R & D (Roberts & Dore)

Dimensions: 3 inches long and 1 inch tall. They weigh a total of 68g

Condition: They are in very good condition

Remarks: A lovely pair of solid cutlery rests which are great useable items to rest serving spoons etc to avoid tables and cloths getting stained and would certainly be a talking point . A must for any lover of Dachshunds
