Victorian Silver Pie Server which is very decorative. This Victorian Silver Heart Shaped Pie/Pastry/Cake Server/Slice could be just what you are seeking if looking for wedding cake knives and servers.
The heart shaped silver slice has a pretty floral engraved decoration. It has a high sided back edge which has a beaded decoration around it which gives it a lovely finish. The neck of the handle is silver and it has a shell/fan shape to the base with a chunky collar that fits onto a bamboo shaped handle. As with most Victorian Silver the hallmarks are lovely and clear.

Dimensions: 10.5 inches in total length, the silver server is 4.75 inches long and 3.25 inches wide. It is made of a good guage of silver
Condition: It is in very good condition apart from a hairline crack in the handle and some slight surface scratching commensurate with age and use, but this certainly does not detract from this very pretty item
Remarks: This really is a lovely very decorative 125 year old Victorian solid silver pastry/pie/cake server and a really impressive item. A must for any collector of good antique Victorian silver
