Antique Victorian Silver Circular Pedestal Bowl Or Dish. It is of a compressed circular shape with pretty embossed floral and scroll patterns. There are two large cartouches which both are still blank, so they could be personalised. It has a short pedestal circular base and is made from a good guage of silver with clear hallmarks

Dimensions: 4 inches in diameter and 2.25 inches tall. It weighs 145g
Condition: Overall it is in very good condition, apart from one little pin prick ding in an area of plain silver and a little ding in the base of one of the cartouches. There is also some light surface scratching to the inside of the bowl, but having said all of the above these are very very minor and really hardly noticeable, but I do try to list my items as accurately as possible and they are all commensurate with use and its 127 years old
Remarks: This really is a very good quality antique solid silver Victorian circular pedestal dish/bowl, that would make an ideal sugar bowl, or very nice bowl for sweets, nuts, chocolates, olives, hors d’eourvre foods, pot pourri etc, the list is endless
Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
