Antique Victorian Silver Plated Muffin Dish. It has a pretty embossed swirl pattern border to the top of the lid which has a decorative finial. It comes complete with its inner tray and is of a good weight. In addition to the clear silver plate marks, it is also stamped “Rd 472323″
Identifying Marks: It is stamped “H.W Ltd” (Henry Wilkinson & Co Ltd) and dates it between 1872 – 1894. A shape (which I am not sure what it is) “EPNS”
Dimensions: 5 inches tall, the base is 6.25 inches in diameter, and the diameter of the base of the lid is 5.75 inches. It weighs 586g
Condition: It is in very good condition with no plate loss, but it does have some very very light surface scratching to a couple of little areas to the underside of the base, but this is very very minor
Remarks: This really is a very good heavy and good quality antique Victorian silver plated muffin dish
