Silver Goblets Hallmarks Birmingham 1971
This is a lovely Boxed Pair of Solid Silver 17th Century Style Goblets. This pair of goblets are a limited edition of 350 single goblets and these are numberd 113 and 114 and they come complete with their Certificates of Authenticity. They are “The Worcester Charter Festival Goblets” and were produced to mark the 350th anniversary of the granting of a Charter to the City of Worcester by James I in 1621. Each one is engraved with the arms of the city and are individually numbered. They are of a 17th Century style and have knopped stems and circular bases with gilt linings to the bowls. They are made from a good guage of silver and have clear hallmarks and they come complete in their fitted green presentation box

Dimensions: 5 inches tall, the top diameter 2.75 inches and then they taper down. The bases are just over 2.25 inches in diameter. They weigh a total of 285g
Condition: They are in very good condition, and so too is the box inside and out
Remarks: This is a very good boxed pair of limited edition commemorative solid silver goblets, that would make lovely wine goblets. If you did not want to keep them for yourself, they would make a super Engagement, Wedding or Silver Wedding present for that special couple
Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
