Antique Silver Mustard Pot. It is oval in shape and has a central handle, (which is quite unusual) which has a lined decoration to it. It has a lined pattern to the top rim and a tall thumbpiece, which again has a lined decoration, on the hinged lid. It comes complete with its blue glass liner

Makers Marks: Completely rubbed, but I do have another mustard pot in the same shape and same hallmarks, where the makers marks are visible (although not identified) which are M.B
Dimensions: 2.5 inches long, including the handle, the actual body just over 1.75 inch long and 1 inch tall. It weighs 35g (not including the blue glass liner)
Condition: Overall it is in good condition with just a few little minor dents to the underside base rim, but obviously not seen unless you turn it upside down, and the liner does have a couple of little nibbles to the top rim
Remarks: A good antique solid silver mustard pot and ideal for any table. I do have another mustard pot, the same shape and hallmarks, but the liner is in good condition and the makers marks are visible, so is a little more expensive to reflect this (but only a few pounds) so ideal if you are looking for a pair
Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
