Assay Office: LONDON
Date: 1912/13
Makers Marks: W.C (William Comyns & Sons)
Dimensions: 2.5 inches in diameter, 3.75 inches wide including the handle, 2.25 inches tall and 3 inches tall to the top of the thumbnail. The silver weighs 126g (without the liner)
Condition: It is in very good condition, and so too is the liner with no chips or cracks
Remarks: A very good large solid silver mustard pot, that would look impressive on any dinner table.
Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
