Silver Art Deco Napkin Rings. They have an engine turned decoration with beaded rims with attractive Art Deco cartouches. Each napkin has been engraved with very fancy letters in these cartouches, one looks like an “H B” interwined and the other “A H” intertwined. They come in their original blue box which is in very good condition.
Assay Office: BIRMINGHAM
Date: 1937
Makers Marks: T & S
Dimensions: 1.25 inches tall and 1.75 inches in diameter.
Condition: In very good condition, but the hallmarks on one of the rings is completely rubbed (if you look really closely with a powerful eye glass you can just about make them out) but I can confirm that these definitely are an exact pair and the hallmarks on the other one are very very clear.
Remarks: A very nice cased pair of solid silver napking rings that would make a lovely present if you did not want to keep them for yourself and perhaps a lovely Christening present.
