Silver Napkin Rings Hallmarked Birmingham 1942. They are circular in shape with a nipped in middle and are plain in design apart from a beaded pattern around the top and base edges. They have clear hallmarks.
Assay Office: BIRMINGHAM
Date: 1942/43
Makers Marks: H.W.Ld (Henry Williamson Ltd)
Dimensions: 1.75 inches in diameter and just under 1 inch tall. They weigh a total of 21g
Condition: They are in good condition with just some light surface scratching, which is only to be expected on a metal item, but this is minor and commensurate with age and use
Remarks: This is a very good pair of solid silver napkin rings, that if you did not want to keep them for yourself would make a nice Engagement, Wedding or Silver Wedding present for a special or a nice pair of napkin rings to give as a Christening present (particularly twins)
Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
Non EU buyers are reminded they are liable for any local customs duties or tax
