This is a very good Pair of Antique Solid Silver Salts. They are of a good size and are circular in shape with overhanging top rims and embossed flower and scroll sides. They have gilt interiors which are still a lovely crisp colour and unusually in addition even though they have gilt interirors, they do also have blue glass liners. They are made from a good guage of silver and have clear hallmarks.

Dimensions: They are 2. 5 inches in diameter and just under 1.5 inches tall. The silver weighs 59g (without the glass liners)
Condition: They are both in very good condition, but one has a very shallow minor crease in the base, but this is really very very minor, and only seen when turned upside down, and only very slightly seen in the inside when the liner is taken out. I have only mentioned this, as I do try to list my items as accurately as possible, but other sellers might not have even felt it necessary as it is very minor
Remarks: These really are a very pretty pair of antique solid silver salts, that could also be used as little mustard pots, or for serving small quantities of sauces. They would also make ideal little holders for tealights and placed in the centre of a table
Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
