Antique Silver Salver. It has a wavy rim with a beaded rim interspersed with embossed plumes of feathers. It has a very pretty engraved floral border and then in the centre it has a large engraved pattern of flowers, leaves and scrolls. It stands on 3 claw feet. It is made from a good guage of silver and has clear hallmarks (apart from the makers marks which are a little rubbed) SHEFFIELD 1906/07 Silver Makers Marks: F.W & Co (Frederick Wilson & Co)
It measures 8.25 inches in diameter and 1 inch tall. It weighs 314g
Overall it is in very good condition apart from a couple of little pin prick dings and some light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item and is commensurate with age and use, but this is very minor
A very pretty antique solid silver small salver, ideal for displaying a small decanter, liqueur /tot glasses, an impressive serving salver or it would make a lovely platter for a solid silver gravy boat and ladle to stand on (please see the ones that I have listed in the “Sauce Boat” and “Silver Ladle” section)
