This is a very good Solid Silver Sauce Boat. It has a very pretty beaded pattern around the top rim and then underneath this, is a line interspersed with crosses. It has a flying leaf capped scroll handle and it stands on 3 shell capped paw feet. It has a wide squared off rim and is made from a good guage of silver and has clear hallmarks. It is also stamped on the base “Sterling England”

Dimensions: 5 inches long from lip to handle, the actual body is 3 inches wide and it is 3.25 inches tall to the top of the handle. It weighs 99g
Condition: It is in very good condition, with just ac oouple of little pin prick size dings to the base, but these are very very minor and it does also have some very light surface scratching, which is only to be expected on a metal item, but this is minor and commensurate with age and use
Remarks: A very good solid silver sauce boat, that would complete any dinner table setting, to serve, cranberry, mint, apple, horseraddish, tartare sauce etc. A solid silver sauce ladle is a must to go with it, so please see the ones that I have listed in the “ladle” section of my shop
