Assay Office: EXETER
Date: 1849/50
Makers Marks: W.P (William Pope) who was actually a Plymouth maker
Dimensions: 5.75 inches long and they weigh 38g
Condition: They are in very good condition
Remarks: This really is a very good, large and substantial pair of antique solid silver Victorian sugar tongs. They are made by a rare Plymouth maker which will make them very collectable
Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
