Antique Silver Caddy Spoon. It has a rectangular shaped bowl with fluted sides with a plain shaped base and this pattern is the same on the front and back of the bowl. It has an engraved pattern to the front of the handle with an oval shaped cartouche at the top which is still blank. The back of the handle has the Old English pattern to the top with the rest of the handle being plain. It is made from a good guage of silver and it has clear hallmarks. Although there is no Assay Office (which is not uncommon for old pieces of silver) but in conjunction with the other marks it can only be:-

Date: 1799/1800
Makers Marks: GB (possibly George Burrows I)
Dimensions: Just over 3 inches long in total, with the bowl being 1.5 inches long and 1.15 inches wide. It weighs 11g
Condition: It is in very good condition
Remarks: This is a very attractive antique Georgian solid silver 212 year old caddy spoon and a must for any collector
