This is a very good Antique Georgian Irish Solid Silver Large Mustard Spoon. It is of a good size and has a fiddle shape to the handle with the Old English pattern to the back. It has an engraved armorial of a dragon (I think) on a crown and to the back of the handle just underneath the clear hallmarks are 3 fancy entwined initial which I think are “FMA”. It is also stamped to the back of the handle the makers mark in full “C Stewart”.

Dimensions: 4.75 inches long in total, the bowl 1.5 inches long and just under 1 inch wide at its widest point. It weighs 13g
Condition: It is in very good condition, but as can be seen in the photograph there is a little wear to the top left hand side of the bowl, but this is minor and really hardly noticeable. It also has some very light surface scratching, which is only to be expected on a metal item, but this is minor and commensurate with age and use

Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
