Antique Silver Victorian Swing Handled Sugar Basket. The Silver Basket has a decorative pierced decoration surrounding the whole of the body and it also has a pierced decoratative handle. It comes complete with its original blue glass liner.

Dimensions: 3 inches tall (4.75 inches tall when the handle is in the upright position and 3.5 inches in diameter. The actual silver basket (without the glass liner) weighs 3 oz (85g)
Condition: It is in lovely condition apart from a minor chip to the top of the blue glass liner
Remarks: A very pretty and decorative 112 year old Victorian solid silver sugar basket, although it would make an impressive dish for serving all sorts of food, like cream, sauces, small fruits, chocolates, nuts, olives, nibbles etc. It will be of particular interest to collectors of genuine antique Victorian silver.
