To the other end it has a silver neck and then a long turned wooden handle. This tea strainer comes complete with its stand/bowl which has a cut out in the rim for the handle to fit snuggly in. It is made from a good guage of silver and both the strainer and the stand have clear hallmarks.

Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
