Georg Jensen Silver Cased Christening Spoon & Fork

This is a lovely Georg Jensen Silver Cased Christening Spoon & Fork. It is in the Lily of the Valley (Rose) Pattern which was was designed in 1913 and carries import marks for London 1924 This spoon and fork comes in their original box which has “Georg Jensen Silversmith 56 Maddon Street London Member of the Salon Paris” stamped o the inside of the lid.

Identifying Marks: Each piece is fully stamped with the Georg Jensen Stamp and “GS” the import mark “925″ and the date letter for London 1924

Dimensions: The Fork is 5.5 inches long and the tynes 0.75 inche wide, the Spoon is 5.75 inches long and the bowl is 2 inches long and 1.25 inches wide. The total weight is 1.75 oz (50g)

Condition: Both pieces are in good condition with just the bowl of the spoon having some little shallow dents commensurate with age and use. The case too is in good condition with just a little discolouration to the outside

Remarks: A lovely Georg Jensen cased silver spoon & fork set that would make a super Christening set that could be handed down through future generations. A lovely family heirloom of this every popular and very collectable maker
