Silver Gin Decanter Label Hallmarked Birmingham 1972. It is of a good size and I can best describe it as being of a rectangular shape with canted corners and having a lined border which follows the shaped outline. It then has a slim rectangular shape on top where the hallmarks are struck. It has clear hallmarks
Assay Office: BIRMINGHAM
Date: 1972/73
Makers Marks: A.D
Dimensions: Just over 2 inches wide, 1.5 inches tall at its tallest point and it weighs 16g (including the chain)
Condition: It is in very good condition
Remarks: This is a very good solid silver Gin decanter label/bottle ticket that would enhance any bottle or decanter and a must for any Gin drinker. I do also have an identical Sherry label/bottle ticket, so if you would like a matching pair then please do not miss it
Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
