This is a good Solid Silver Vesta Case. It is of a cushion shape with a striped engine turned pattern covering the front and the back. There is a plain circular cartouche the front which is still blank so it could be personalised. It has a gilt interior and is made from a good guage of silver and has clear hallmarks

Dimensions: Just under 1.75 inches tall, 1.25 inches wide and 0.25 inch deep. It weighs 19g
Condition: It is in good condition with just one very very minor shallow dent and some light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item and is commensurate with age and use, but again this is minor. The hinged lid has a good spring to it and it shuts tightly
Remarks: This is a good solid silver vesta case and a nice addition to any collection, or a good little vesta for use and ideal to carry around in a pocket or handbag
Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used. Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark. I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in “as new condition”.
